Eating Your Own Young, Part II
Well, this is a fine congrats!
Doesn't Reese Witherspoon look a bit like a shrieking monkey on Tuesday's cover? This is a problem I see with a lot of Red's celeb cover stories--ugly, boring (or in this case, hideous) photos of the subject. If you must run vapid celeb stories, at least make them look hot. From a distance, one might think the cover story is about, say, what a bitch that Reese Witherspoon is, particularly because that shrill display text punches you in the nose the same way every day, no matter what the actual tone or angle of the corresponding story.
Most agree that Reese is attractive, and she's celebrating her Golden Globe win, and of course Red is celebrating "All the fashion, glitz and glam inside the Golden Globes." So how about checking the wires again for a pretty picture?
